The Sun in Cancer (6/21 – 7/22) *Illuminates & Infuses* your Internal/Inner Emotional Nature, connecting you to Source Energy and activating the *Annual* Check-In with your gut-level feelings. We are at the Mid-Point in the Annual Cycle, how do you *FEEL* about the year 2013 so far?

Often, Cancer time activates personal choices that you’d rather postpone, but Cancer is Cardinal/Action energy that brings this *Annual* Activation for everyone, and for the *Cardinal*Family, it can be a little more intense & personal. Cancer being Ruled by the Moon, is serious about letting you know that the natural cycles work best when you honor them! When you fight or resist your nature or natural cycles, you lose your rhythm with life and everything seems hard and oppressive.

In addition to making good choices, you may have to give the deep emotions (which are being stirred at this time) an outlet, some structure and purpose so as not to be overwhelmed and drown in them. The Water energy has been seeping in slowly (or not) as of Aug 2012, but right now, we have a sort-of ‘energetic container’ in the *Summer* Retrogrades. Retrogrades always extend us a type of Grace Period that shifts the focus (and support) to the work behind the scenes (personal/individual), so do not squander this time on people or circumstances which no longer “fit” the vision you hold for your life. If you allow yourself to get caught up in the storm (of now), you will find when things move forward (Dec/Jan) that you are not in a position to take full advantage of the opportunities coming this Fall Equinox (Sept/Harvest). This Summer is about *Completion & Closure* on all old projects and past inclinations. You are moving rapidly toward the “new you” and you can no longer “wing it” (the old way) and that is because you are in completely new territory, where new rules apply.

Take advantage of the energy of the *Summer* Retrogrades to:

·Re-View ~ your life (from a Higher vantage point)

·Re-Assess ~ your plan (what needs tweaking?)

·Re-Consider ~ your options (you have more than you think)

·Re-Evaluate ~ your philosophies, beliefs and what you hold to be true (in the present moment)

·Re-Connect ~ with your intuition (open the channels)

·Re-Form ~ your being (from the inside out)

·Re-Write ~ your personal story (of the upcoming 12 yrs)

·Re-New ~ your sense of Self (at this Higher level of consciousness)

We also have an added blessing of Jupiter in Cancer June 25, 2013 – July 16, 2014. This initiation overlaps with this Mercury Retro in Cancer (June 26 – July 20, 2013). This is an intense process/recalibration of your thought/feeling connection and how it works (May 31 – Aug 8, 2013). ALL Signs will want to prepare your individual water crafts & vehicles! Look to the House Ruled by Cancer to know the Self-Work which will be expanded on with Jupiter’s fresh presence for the first time (in Cancer) since 2001-2002. Jupiter makes everything “bigger” so anything in your Cancer Department that you do NOT want “bigger” now is the time to fully digest & release anything that would block your future blessing from Jupiter. This is a chance to connect with your deepest feelings and reclaim your ability to nurture your Self, to create with your imagination and your own two hands and to commit to honoring all life by allowing it space to grow and develop fully and naturally, in Divine Time & Order (Cancer).
